About Kristina Tonev

Kristina Tonev is a Lithuanian born artist based in Suffolk, England. 

She is currently studying in her third year of Fine Art in The University of Suffolk, where she is exploring the concepts of time and mortality. 

Tonev's practice involves durational performance art, installation art as well as sculpture and painting. 

She is currently weaving straw vertebrae that changes and adapts to its environment as part of caring, labour-intensive performances.
